Pellikola Limited is a film production services company based in Malta.
The company opened its doors in June 2010 and in its first months it serviced the HBO TV series 'Game of Thrones' that filmed in Malta for 7 weeks in Autumn of 2010.
Pellikola is owned and managed by Oliver Mallia. Oliver has over 12 years of experience in the audiovisual industry and has worked in different roles including that of Film Commissioner between 2002 and 2007.
Under his management, the Malta Film Commission helped the islands attract various high profile productions including Wolfgang Petersen's ‘Troy’, Steven Speilberg’s ‘Munich’ and parts of the screen adaptation of the best selling novel ‘The Da Vinci Code'. He also championed the introduction of the financial incentives that the Government of Malta still provide to international productions filming on the islands.
Prior to establishing Pellikola he co-owned and managed another film company Cinebiss Limited through which he serviced high profile productions like 'Agora' in 2008.
